• the colours used on the double page spread are similiar to those on the front cover and the contents page. black is a very prodominant colour which is used throughout the magazine as it represents the "dark" side to rock music.
• there are 7 images featured on the double page spread. there is one image, the main one which is the biggest and it shows the lead singer which the band is probably most well known for.
• the image shows his arms covered in tattoos showing a rough/scruffy look. along with his outstretched arm, his veins are very prominent. this could be because he is about to clench his fist as he is getting very into the music.
• the pages look like they have been split into three columns. two thin ones on either side and a large one in the middle which is wide enough to hold the main image.
• the column on the left hand side is full of writing and only includes one small picture at the bottom which is of the lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold. he looks happy as he has received a good review of his gig.
• the type of font used on the double page spread is that which has been used on both the front cover and the contents page.
