- the NME contents page is very recognisable as it is hugely similar to the front cover of the magazine.
- the red, black and white are once again the prodominant colours but they have also added yellow onto the page. this breaks up the other colours as the yellow stands out dramatically. especially on a black background.
- the contents page can also be recognised by the NME logo which is placed in the top left hand corner like it is on the front cover. the theme of the magazine is carried through from the front cover to the contents page.
- the contents page is split up into two columns. one has the most writing in and then the other takes up 2/3 of the page and includes both pictures and the black box at the bottom with the yellow writing in.
- you can see the columns quite easily as there is a white margin between both which shows the divide.
- the right hand column has made the writing align to the left hand side
- there are 9 boxes in total on the contents page which include some form of writing or a picture. the majority of these boxes surround the subtitles/headings of what is going to be in the magazine such as; news, radar, reviews, live and features.
